3D printing has repeatedly allowed the blind to “see” the world. Thanks to our creative customers, this idea continues to be widely applied. 3D printing is a fast and convenient way to make custom products.

One such example is the board game “Scrabble” adaptation for the blind. As this popular game is not adapted for blind people, we were contacted by a client who had an idea to make this game adopted. Based on the information provided, we modeled all the elements of the game – blocks, board base, cases, and all other necessary inventory. The letters on the game blocks are not only in the ordinary alphabet but also in Braille. They are also embossed. This allows you to play this game with blind people as well. We used fast and accurate “Prusa” 3D printers to fulfill this beautiful idea. All components of the game are printed of natural PLA plastic, so they are environmentally friendly.

3D printing allowed our client to enjoy their favorite board game with loved ones and friends no matter how good they can see. We are happy to contribute a little to the well-being of these people and provide an opportunity for having great free time.
