For the automotive industry, 3D technologies have opened doors for more innovative designs, lighter and safer products, shorter production times, and lower costs. We are therefore happy to take part in automotive projects and transform our customers’ ideas and requirements into high-end 3D printed products.

We are sharing the “JAD Engineering” project. French engineers are developing a sports car prototype. Initially, the rooftop of the car was equipped with a Naca-type air intake. Unfortunately, it was not as dynamically efficient as expected. For this reason, there was developed a new air intake. Its production was entrusted to our 3D printing engineers.

Using the 3D model provided by the customer, we performed 3D printing of the scoop on a large-scale FDM technology-based 3D printer “Modix” with PETG 3D printing material. This plastic is resistant to shock, temperature, and environmental impact. Despite the material and product geometry, our printers ensured precise and smooth surfaces.

The 3D printed part was installed on the roof of a sports car prototype and tested. We are happy to provide our customers with fast and high-quality solutions that facilitate and accelerate complex engineering projects.
