We recently partnered with NEWT21, a water drone manufacturer from Latvia, to find an effective and engaging way to showcase their products to trade show visitors and potential clients. The solution was to create scaled-down models of their drones using 3D printing technology.
For this project, we used two different 3D printers: the Modix Big 60 and the Prusa MK3. Both devices offer high printing accuracy, which is crucial for capturing fine details. The Modix Big 60 was chosen for printing larger components, while the Prusa MK3 was chosen for its reliability and quality when working with smaller parts. We also used PLA filament, which is lightweight, durable, and ideal for display models.
The entire production process went smoothly. The 3D printing allowed us to complete the project quickly while maintaining high quality. The final result – compact, aesthetically pleasing, and highly accurate scale models that reflect the original drones. These models not only help NEWT21 clearly communicate the essence of their products but also serve as an effective marketing tool at events.
We’re glad to see that more and more companies are discovering 3D printing as an efficient, fast, and impactful way to present their products.
