The modern production of architectural mockups is inseparable from 3D printing. Taking advantage of 3D technology, the production of mockups becomes more than ten times faster. In addition, the most sophisticated design forms can be easily realized.

Today we are sharing the architectural mockup production project of Stasys Eidrigevičius Arts Center. After the company IMPLMNT architects presented the 3D models, we 3D printed a mockup of the territory where the new art center and the nearby buildings can be seen.

We used FDM technology-based, fast and accurate “Prusa” and “Modix” 3D printers, with which all houses and the base plate were printed in just one day. For printing we have chosen PLA. It is not only environmentally friendly, but also has particularly good aesthetic properties. The project won this competition and in 2024 we will see this art center in Panevežys.

3D printing made it possible to streamline the production of mockups and save precious architects time.
