Jewelry-making demands exceptional precision and meticulous craftsmanship, and today, modern 3D printing capabilities are becoming increasingly integral to this field. Recently, we collaborated with sculptor and 3D artist Lelija Populaigytė to bring her jewelry designs to life. 💍
For this project, we employed SLA printing technology, known for its outstanding detail accuracy, material flexibility, and biocompatibility with the human body. The 3D models created by the artist were printed using the Form 3L resin printer, which boasts a precision of 0.05 mm. We used Grey V4 resin for casting the pieces. Finally, the artist cast these forms in wax and utilized the ancient and authentic “lost-wax casting” method to produce the final metal pieces. We are proud to contribute to realizing technically complex and creatively ambitious projects.
