One of the biggest advantages of 3D technology is its speed and quality, which can be incredibly valuable when you have a unique idea but limited time to bring it to life.
One such example is the creation and printing of the “Future Village Creator” award statuettes for the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania. Upon their request, we produced 16 award statuettes that are dedicated to honor individuals and organizations that contribute to building a modern, innovative, and sustainable future for Lithuania’s villages.
The statuettes were 3D printed in two parts, a base and a relief, to create an aesthetically pleasing design. The relief of Lithuania’s outline was printed using the most precise SLA technology with Formlabs printer. The base of the statuette was made using the most advanced FDM technology with a Prusa 3D printer and black PLA plastic.
The base and the relief were post-processed, painted and glued together. FDM 3D printing technology was used to produce the pins on the relief. Finally, the awards were finished with engraved nomination plates.
We are glad that 3D technologies enabled us to bring this unique idea to life and also to deliver it quickly, precisely, and in an environmentally responsible way.
