There is no secret that nowadays 3D printing is being used to produce custom gifts or ceremonial awards. And we are happy to offer our customers not only the creation of unique sculptures or replicas but also the opportunity to use exclusive technology for painting plastic sculptures.

This time the order was made by representatives of India through the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wishing to make copies of the sculpture of M. Gandhi and H. Kalenbach, which could be used as special gifts for special people.

The original miniature of the sculpture is cast in bronze and attached to a granite base. Our team performed the miniature 3D scan using the highest precision “Artec Space Spider” 3D scanner, which captures environmental objects with an accuracy of 0.05 mm.

3D scanned model was printed by Zortrax’s latest and largest “M300 Plus” 3D printer. The printing was made of ABS plastic, which is not only durable but also easy to process in subsequent post-printing processes.

3D printed sculpture has been carefully prepared and painted, choosing the needed bronze hue and maintaining the aging effect. Such sculpture is an accurate replica of the original miniature.

This method of sculpture production not only reduces production costs but also allows multiple copies to be made in a short period of time. A total of 5 sculptures were made in up to 1 month.
