3D technologies unlock new creative possibilities, helping brands and creators to make their unique ideas a reality quickly and accurately.
One such example is the Citroën DS advertising project. At the request of the advertising, television, and film production services company “The Magic”, we 3D printed various props symbolizing French art, fashion, music, and their influence on the modern automobile.
In total, we 3D printed three cultural symbols – scissors that embody French fashion traditions; artworks inspired by Camille Claudel, reflecting the French spirit of art and a piano leg, symbolizing the importance of music in French culture. All these elements were designed to appear as if melting from wax and seamlessly merging into one harmonious creation – the Citroën car. To achieve this, we opted for advanced SLA and FDM 3D printing technologies and produced high-quality, eye-catching props. It enabled the production team to avoid computer graphics and achieve an authentic, practical-effects aesthetic.
Thanks to 3D printing, we were able to ensure impeccable accuracy and fast project implementation time, once again demonstrating the versatility and flexibility of 3D technologies in creative projects.
