3D scanning of buildings, bridges, factories and other structures is becoming an increasingly popular way to take measurements and get computer 3D models quickly and extremely accurately. With the help of 3D scanners, data is captured from several dozen points, thus ensuring that we get the most accurate information from all sides.

This time we want to present you a 3D scan for a liquid fertilizer and chemical products plant. At the customer’s request, we digitized the entire plant, which consisted of 6 tanks. For this project implementation was used an extremely fast and accurate “Faro S150” 3D scanner, which allowed us to maintain +/- 2mm accuracy. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, 3D scanning was done in just one business day.

The 3D scanned data was processed with LOD 200 accuracy. The final result is a point cloud. The 3D scan is a perfect source for measurements, planning changes to buildings or sites, or preparing documentation.
