Jewelry is another area where innovative jewelers keep pace with the latest technology. It is no exception to this project by artist Lauryna Kiskyte. The main idea – move her own feet into jewelry. To fulfill this ambition, Lauryna needed extremely accurate 3D scanning and 3D printing of her feet.

We chose “Artec’s” ultra-precise and fast 3D scanners for feet 3D scanning. The “Artec Eva” machine has made it possible to work with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. The scanned feet were reduced to a height of 10 cm and printed with “Zortrax M200” 3D printer. We chose Z-HIPS white plastic for printing, which is suitable for printing mock-ups, prototypes, art products because it gives a very smooth and aesthetic surface.

Lauryna used the 3D printed feet to make gypsum molds, where she cast porcelain. The developer used porcelain castings in  jewelry making. Some of these pieces of jewelry have been able to compete in the International Jewelry Competition in Japan! We are delighted with Lauryna’s achievements, we wish her never lose creativity, and our team is always ready to help you realize all your creative ambitions.
