3D printing of mock-ups is a popular way to make scaled copies of various objects using 3D modeling and 3D printing tools. We have produced the most diverse models, starting from architecture, art, and ending with engineering systems or even ships.
One of the projects we have done is 3D printing of models of two ships named “Seigur T1100” and “Seigur W1100”. The company engaged in the production of sea ships decided to decorate their office and produce scaled ship models they had built. After receiving the 3D models from the customer, we made all the necessary corrections when adapting the model for production by 3D printing. The printing was carried out using large-scale FDM technology-based “Modix Big-60” 3D printers using PLA printing material. PLA plastic is environmentally friendly and ensures particularly smooth walls of printed products as well as an aesthetic look.
