The production of architectural mockups is another field that has particularly rapidly adopted the advantages of additive manufacturing. Starting from a matchbox-size house to several meters long mockup of the city – 3D printing is the fastest and most convenient technology in any case.
Today we are sharing an impressive project for which we had limited lead time and high client ambition. According to the provided 3D models, more than 1.6 meters long and 1.3 meters wide Šiauliai city mockup was printed in just a few days. To ensure high speed while maintaining the highest quality, we chose FDM technology-based large-scale Modix 3D printers and white PLA material.
3D printing allows architects and designers to quickly turn digital 3D models into reality and thus save a lot of precious time in the preparation of architectural mockups.
