We did the same thing this time. The customer has provided several boxes of different designs that he wants to start production. In order to produce such production forms, it is necessary to create an accurate STEP model of the box. This was done by our highly skilled engineers. The boxes were scanned with an extremely fast and accurate “Artec Space Spider” 3D scanner with an accuracy of up to 0.05 mm. The resulting mesh file was restored by reverse engineering to STEP format. This format is perfect for milling or other mold-making techniques.
This process ensures not only fast but also accurate product restoration and convenient preparation of drawings of production forms. With these drawings, the customer will be able to easily create molds and start producing the desired products.
