Times are changing. Our needs are changing as well. We often face a situation where we not only want to replace worn-out parts of equipment, but also to improve them, adapt them to other devices, or change their design. Such a problem was also encountered by the customer who provided a detail of the impeller for its renewal.

Based on the broken original part provided, our professional engineers restored the propeller shapes. At the customer’s request, we adjusted the mounting points of the part, adapting the part to the drive of another belt. Because the impeller is mounted on the motor and rotates during operation, we have chosen one of our strongest plastic for printing. In this case, we used PC-ABS. This material is particularly strong, durable, and able to last a long time. 3D printing was performed on a closed “Zortrax M200” 3D printer. Thanks to the closed printing camera, this 3D printer allows high-quality printing of a wide variety of plastics.

This method of production is the only choice for fast, high quality, and low-cost restoration or improvement of unique technical parts.
