One such example is our project with Ukmergė District Municipality, through which we created realistic miniatures of Kaišiadorys Cathedral and the Baubliai huts of the Dionizas Poška Museum, representing the Šilalė region.

One of the main challenges of this project was the complex geometry of the objects and their intricate details. To capture these features accurately, we used photogrammetry and 3D scanning technologies. We converted the captured data into precise digital 3D models, and then carefully prepared them for printing.

The production process involved three different 3D printing technologies, supported by a range of scanning and printing equipment, including the Artec Ray 2, Modix Big Meter and Formlabs Form 3L. Finally, each printed miniature was carefully hand-painted to achieve a high level of visual detail and accuracy. Now, these creations can be admired at the “Mini Lietuva” miniature park in Ukmergė.

This project demonstrates how 3D technologies open up incredible possibilities for preserving and showcasing our cultural heritage.

3D printing material: recycled plastic
Size (length x width x height): 1600 cm x 1500 cm x 1200 cm (Cathedral);
