Ramanauskas-Vanagas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A monument for partisan leader A. Ramanauskas-Vanagas was presented in Kaunas Vytautas the Great War Museum this week. The sculpture created by Gintautas Luko\u0161aitis. The original monument is made of bronze according to A. Ramanauskas \u2013 Vangas picture, made in 1947. In this picture, Vanagas poses kneeling with hawks on his shoulders. We glad that on the initiative of Merkin\u0117 Regional Museum we were able to contribute to the perpetuation of this beautiful sculpture.<\/p>\n<p>At the customer&#8217;s request, we performed 3D scanning of the original sculpture. For 1,2 meter high piece of art digitization, we used the fastest, mobile, and very accurate &#8220;Artec Eva\u201c 3D scanner. This device is capable to capture environmental objects with an accuracy of up to 0,1 mm. Thanks to the most innovative technology, this extremely accurate scanning process took only one hour. 3D scanned model was exported in STL format and scaled to 10 cm and 14 cm in height.<\/p>\n<p>Scaled copies of the sculpture were printed by SLA technology 3D printer. This technology allows us to produce very accurate and highly detailed parts because the 3D printing layer is only 0,05 mm thick. These extremely accurate 3D printed models will be used for souvenirs and gift production.<\/p>\n<p>3D scanning and 3D printing \u2013 it\u2018s the fastest and easiest way not only to digitize sculptures and other pieces of art but to making copies of them as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3D printing technology:<\/strong>\u00a0 SLA (Stereolithography)<\/p>\n<p><strong>3D printing material:<\/strong> Standard resin<\/p>\n<p><strong>Original sculpture size (mm): <\/strong>907.5 x 759.52 x 1214.00<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A monument for partisan leader A.
