If anyone asked to list the areas in which 3D printing has revolutionized manufacturing processes, sculptors would definitely be in the TOP 10. 3D scanning and 3D printing of sculpture positives not only shortens production time but also allows you to reproduce the same product more than once and save it in the digital space for future use.

This time we were approached by an art student asking to print a positive for the bronze sculpture mold making. The customer created the computer model by himself. We just had to do 3D printing. The reliable and accurate “Zortrax M300 Plus” printers were selected. The sculpture was printed in white HIPS plastic, which is specifically intended for printing layouts, sculptures, prototypes, etc.

3D printed human sculpture will be used to make the mold. In this form will be cast the bronze sculpture. This method of production eliminates the need for positive production by hand, thus saving a lot of precious customer time.
