The company that is engaged in the installation of electrical and telecommunications networks was ordered to print parts from rarely used 3D printing material - polypropylene (PP).
3D models have been modified and the parts were printed using the FDM technology of the highly advanced Zortrax M200 printer. The parts were printed out of polypropylene, this material is rarely used in 3D printing, because there are large deformations during printing, which make the product slip away. Our company engineers have found a solution that allows us to use PP plastics in 3D printing and we are currently the only one 3D printing company in Lithuania that professionally prints with this material. This structural plastic has good dielectric properties, chemical resistance, stiffness and firmness.
Due to the properties of PP plastic, the printed parts of this plastic are used as electrical components of the final product, what is more, the customer saves time and money.
