No one will deny the importance of models. Whether it is a mock-up of a new construction project, a park reconstruction, a facility, or some technological solution. They all play a very important role – creating an initial impression of the product. For this reason, each model must be precise, aesthetically appealing, and eye-catching. 3D printing technology is one of the fastest and most convenient ways to do this job.

One of such projects is the model of EBEA® balcony joints. EBEA® balcony joints are load-bearing insulated connection elements for concrete structures supplied by Peikko Lietuva. This product is used in the construction sector: for cantilever balconies and other applications such as walls and slabs.

3D printing was performed according to the 3D model provided by the customer. This time MJF printing technology was chosen due to the complex geometry. MJF printed parts are not only accurate but also very durable. This makes them perfect for transportation to exhibitions or expositions. The 3D printed model was post-processed and painted according to the customer’s needs.

This model will be used in
exhibitions, expositions, and trainings as an illustrative example of product. 3D printing was chosen because of the ability to quickly get light and accurate product model.
