This time we are sharing a cool #Dancerbus project by “Vėjo projektai”. Dancer is an electric transport system that includes e-buses, maintenance and its own green energy supply. We also had the opportunity to contribute to this project by printing steering wheel trim for the new electric bus.

We received 3D model files from the customer for the required parts. Zortrax M300 Plus 3D Printer has been selected for 3D printing. This printer generates outstanding precision and smooth surface of the 3D printed object. This facilitates further post-processing. Since the 3D printed parts had to be painted, we chose the Z-Ultrat plastic. This material is not only easy to process but also has excellent mechanical properties.

3D printed parts were polished and painted in matte black. This method made it possible to quickly and easily produce the unique parts needed for the electric bus being developed. Such parts can work well not only as prototypes but also as end products.
