We received a request to produce a unique lamp cover. The design was created by the customer to enliven the interior of his home. As the range of 3D printing materials expands, we can offer an increasingly diverse range of plastics and their colors. By choosing FDM printing technology and Z-GLASS material, we obtained a semi-transparent surface that transmits light but does not show what is inside the lamp.
As the lamp is 345 mm long, we chose a “Modix BIG-60” FDM technology 3D printer for this order production. The customer will post-process the printed lamp, install LED lights and integrate it into the interior of his home.
It is gratifying that 3D printing is gaining popularity, and 3D printed products can already be found in almost every home.
