Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer used in many areas: packaging solutions, pipelines, laboratory equipment, automotive industry.
This type of plastic is easy to recycle and is not harmful for human health. Polypropylene is resistant to most solvents and glue, but can be bonded by using epoxy or hot glue, as well as by welding.
Polypropylene 3D printing is a complicated process. During the printing undergoes major deformation, which causes the product to get wavy. For this reason, successful polypropylene 3D printing requires careful testing and proper process settings.
After a long tests, we managed to understand the printing properties of polypropylene. Now we print high quality parts, whose dimensions do not exceed 80x80x80 (mm).
