By customer's prepared 3D models, brace parts were printed with additive technology. 3D model of brace parts were made from 3D scanned hand model and with 3D modeling tools, every neccessary part was made e. g. holes in braces to make it lighter or to have a better air circulation.
Brace parts were printed with high quality "Zortrax M200" 3D printers using "Z-Ultrat" material (known as better version of ABS). The choice was made because of needed strength and surface smoothness.
3D printed braces are gaining popularity in world market because gypsum bracket is heavy and quite unpleasant. 3D printed braces can be made with various designs and difficulties, as well in almost any color because 3D printing technology enables almost unlimited design possibilities.
